Trinity Washington University sits on a quiet corner in northeast Washington, DC, just steps from the National Basilica. The women’s college founded in 1897 is home to several unique spaces prime for filming both tv and motion pictures.

• The Main Hall, the heart of the Trinity Washington campus, was constructed in 1912 and houses over 225,000 sq. feet of period spaces. As if frozen in time, many of the spaces remain intact as constructed in just yesterday. Dormitories, classrooms, offices and grand ballrooms are all house in this 107 year old gothic style building. From the gleaming marble floors, to warm wood paneling, to custom made cabinetry, closets and lockers– Main hall has many of the classic features that one does not find in today’s contemporary architecture.

• The Payden Academic Center is a new state of the art facility that offers a labs and simulations rooms that can be used for a variety of filming needs. Featuring 2 nursing simulation labs; 1 health assessment lab, 8 science laboratories including anatomy and physiology, general biology, physics, chemistry, cellular/molecular and microbiology, a clinical nursing and counseling suite with 6 exam and interview rooms —this building is perfect for crime lab footage, hospital and or medical themed shoots. Local filmmakers are already taking note as the Payden Center was named Location of the Month for the DC Office of TV and Film Production.

r• Alumnae Hall Dining Room is the general dining services suite for on campus students. This room with its elegant wood paneling and handmade wrought iron chandeliers, closely resembles a scene out of a Harry Potter movie and is the perfect location for a historical shoot.

The Trinity Center for Women and Girls in Sports is a $20 million recreational and educational complex located in the heart of Trinity Washington University’s campus.  Proudly the nation’s largest facility dedicated to women and girls in sports, the Trinity Center is home to Trinity’s NCAA Division III athletic programs and the Trinity College community.

Opened in 2003, the Trinity Center boasts a weight room/fitness center, aerobic room/dance studio, indoor pool, spa, basketball court, tennis courts, walking track and locker rooms—all perfect locations to exercise the bodies and minds of children of all ages. Also located on the urban 27 acre campus is a full soccer field and auxiliary field great for kick ball and a good old fashion game of tag.

In addition to accommodating the fully able body athlete and camper, the Trinity Center for Women and Girls in Sports has been the home for an Adaptive Sports Summer Camp. Dedicated to children ages 6-18 with a physical disability, the camp features activities such as wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, adaptive fitness, cycling, wheelchair lacrosse, bocce, badminton, wheelchair rugby, yoga, martial arts, crafts, and MORE!
